Description:

Dynamic, industry leading, global growth manufacturer has an immediate need for a Division Financial Controller at a Division Headquarters operation located in the Columbia, SC area. This position is charged with the financial reporting for the North American Division including US and Canadian operation. You will maintain the General Ledger structure, ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close as well as timely completion of all financial reporting requirements. Reports to CFO of North American Division.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools and reports to drive business results, drive excess expense and capital out of the business, strategic planning, project forecasting, rolling forecasts, and special project analysis. As Division Financial Controller you will be responsible for the compliance through maintenance of sound internal controls procedures, guaranteeing the integrity of the financial statements. You will monitor the results of reporting systems to insure consistency in methods used as well as in quality of information generated. This position plays a key role in the Division's financial performance while focused on achieving division's business performance goals. There is a focus on developing Division's financial staffs.

You may work on "High Level " financial analysis projects, prepare financial reports and analysis, manage financial reporting. Drive processes and systems performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
You should have a BS Degree in Accounting or Finance ; an MBA (or MS in Accounting) is a plus. A CPA is a plus. You should have 7-12 years of relevant large company (multi-location) experience. You should have divisional or regional financial performance reporting experience. You should have experience driving division's key functional financial performance metrics. You should have very solid experience in US and International (IFRS) accounting standards to meet national and IFRS requirements. You should have solid SAP FI experience. Any SAP MM/CO and other modules would be a plus. Hyperion reporting systems experience would be a plus. You should be comfortable with a "hands-on", pragmatic approach and have the ability to meet tight deadlines. You should enjoy working in a complex and changing environment. Any merger/integration of financial systems experience is a plus.

You should have strong influential communication skills. Base salary of $100-120k + Annual Performance Bonus opportunity, strong benefit and retirement packages, and Relocation assistance.
