Description:

� Support Managers of Health & Welfare Benefits; primarily supporting on-going services
� Participate in various benefits related projects.
� Assist benefits team members with issue resolution and handle escalated employee concerns received by HR field employees
� Involved in day-to-day administration of all employee Health & Welfare benefit programs
� Act as liaison between human resources representatives and benefits administrator (3rd party Outsourcer and Carriers/Program Administrators)
� Support implementation of new programs, including data analysis and training, and keep HR community apprised of program changes and updates
� Responsible for tracking, monitoring and resolution of administrative matters
� Assist in plan compliance review including maintenance of benefit plan documents and preparation of government filings
� Develop and distribute internal benefits communications
� Monitor performance of third party administrators
� Assist with development of procedures (process and related controls) for limited manual administrative issues (i.e., tracking and reporting of retirees)
� Coordinate weekly update meetings with HR community including agenda development and follow up of discussion items
� Manage authorized contact list for multiple benefit-related administrators


� 4 year College degree
� At least 3 years of benefits experience (5 years preferred)
� Knowledge of benefits regulations and applicable laws
� Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills when dealing with employees, business leaders and third party administrators
� Exceptional relationship and team building skills
� Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and on a timely basis
� Proficiency in MS office suite is required
