Our Client is looking for an experienced Director of Compensation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and driving the design, planning and implementation of effective incentive compensation plans and policies. Candidates are flexible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong leadership and influencing skills. This role will have high visibility across the organization and will work within a cross-functional team environment and at all levels within the organization, to lead and influence.

Leadership Attributes:

This leader will be seasoned and passionate about leading and developing teams. This person will have sound judgment and be able drive innovation that leads to very high quality, highly effective global compensation structures, policies, and procedures that are approachable and easy to understand.

Responsibilities include:
Lead the strategy and design of compensation plans, including systems functionality, implementation process and overall implementation timeline.
Lead the team responsible for the compensation administration.
Understanding and applying the bonus plan consistently, maintaining data integrity and working with Finance to ensure bonus calculations align with the plans.
Analyze impact of performance programs and make improvements to maximize process continuity.
Assist in preparation of monthly & quarter-end accounting forecast/accrual processes.
Communicate and educate HR, Finance, management or employees on compensation programs

Skills, Education and Experience:

10+ years of experience leading the design, implementation of complex compensation programs and systems for a rapidly growing business.
Prior experience leading sales commissions for a large sales organization.
Experience with the administration and enhancement of incentive systems.
Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (Excel)
Accomplished leadership skills, including individual and team development, modeling of leadership principles and successful teamwork.
Strong communication skills and management presence. Ability to operate programs and processes.
Enhanced problem solving skills. Ability to accurately compile and analyize both quantitative and qualitative data.
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
