As a Special Investigations Unit Adjuster operating out of our Atlanta, GA, headquarters, your main mission will be to investigate non-standard automobile insurance claims and distinguish between suspicious and meritorious claims, staying alert for signs of common fraud and in the management and early identification of sophisticated fraud rings. Using your skills in asking the right questions of a range of people, you will conduct fact-finding missions on claims you have identified as suspect, interviewing attorneys, policyholders, claimants, and witnesses involved in automobile accidents to get to the truth quickly maintaining efficient case closure cycle times.
Your experience updating and maintaining a computer database that tracks claim data will ease your transition into our state-of-the-art system that compares claim attributes against proven fraud indicators appropriate for the claim, allowing you to leverage our vast warehouse of historical information to assist you in making the right decisions on the cases you are managing. With a majority of our insureds on the west coast, we are able to offer non-traditional workdays, from 10am to 7pm, allowing you to beat the rush on both ends and still be home at a reasonable hour in the evening.
