The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for supporting, promoting and messaging best in class Mobile Broadband Products and Solutions to our Tier One operator and platform customers. Primary focus is on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T Wireless. In addition, supporting Bell Mobility and the Bell Wireless Alliance partners, Latin America , distribution partners and assisting our OEM team supporting customers such as Dell, Panasonic, Sony & Toshiba.
The target focus within operators is providing value to the Enterprise, Government, Retail and MVNO channels who are positioning mobile broadband products. Working closely with account sales managers, the Sales representative will focus on channel development, training and education of the carrier sales teams to promote product positioning and driving revenue growth.
The candidate is responsible for developing both field level and executive level relationships in market. Working with Sales & Marketing teams to develop an overall sales strategy for specific markets .Evaluating the strengths of partner- ’s present sales channel and building on these strengths .Training of the sales channels through regional events, lunch & learns and seminars. Develop relationship with sales channels via monthly meetings to review channel activity, sales funnels, support carrier's sales events and help drive execution of marketing programs. Develop and monitor monthly sales forecasts for the various Account Managers.
3-6 years of experience in wireless data/telecommunications/software sales
Experience in carrier sales
Experience in channel distribution
Excellent interpersonal skills, and good team player
Ability to travel throughout Americas
Self starter, highly organized
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Proven relationship management skills
Sales experience within mobile broadband
Existing relationships with Sprint, Verizon and AT&T Wireless
Fluent in English / Bi-Lingual French and/or Spanish an asset
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
