With the advent of a redesigned Website and marketing collateral pieces, an aggressive Internet Marketing Campaign, the attendance of 7 major national tradeshows and the addition of several key employees, we were able to grow at these triple-digit increases. Responsible for all marketing and new business development. Was responsible and held accountable for all aspects of business operations and profitability, sales forecasting, procedures, budgets and projections. Vertical Computer Systems Inc. is a specialized software system for retail stores. It includes many specialized modules: Accounting, POS, Order Processing, Human Resources & Payroll and Inventory

April 2001 – April 2002 Personnel 411, Miramar, Florida
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Responsible for all marketing and new business development. Responsible for entire company presence to new companies and venues. Reported to company President. Trained all employees on recruiting techniques, policies, and procedures. Purchased and installed new computers and oversaw Windows NT Network installation. Supervised productivity of account reps, office administration, and accounting. Responsible and held accountable for all aspects of business operations and profitability. Sales forecasting and procedures, budgets and projections. Addressed present growth requirements and was held accountable for such. Developed more revenue in third month of operation than had previously been attained (totally) in an entire year. Company lost funding and eventually closed.

Sept. 2000 - April 2001 Kooson, Inc., Boca Raton, Florida
Acting Director of Sales & Marketing (contract)
Was brought on board as to "revamp" entire business processes. Personally wrote, edited, and introduced employee manual, procedure's guide (standard operating manual), and job description training manuals. Reported to company president and acted as point person on all corporate issues except accounting. Replaced and upgraded staff without increasing payroll. Was responsible for all new hires, recruitment, and sourcing of employees. Added workstations to make existing office space more manageable and efficient without increasing office space or overhead. Purchased all workstations used to better insure company savings. Championed entire reworking of network (Windows 2000), redesign of website and the addition of high-speed data transmission through added T-1 line. Had responsibility of new product development. Introduced a total of 32 new products and colors into existing product line up.
Reduced overall production times by moving the manufacturing of one particular product stateside. This lowered overall manufacturing time from 10 weeks to 2 weeks and further reduced costs from Korean production. Negotiated trade and shipping costs from manufacturer and freight forwarder. Was personally responsible for all new company collateral materials and corporate branding. Because of newly designed brochures, shelf life of advertising materials was increased by 12 months. Entered products into well over 15 new markets with varying distribution protocols. Wrote all company agreements to vendors and representatives. Devised complete marketing budget for the retail and wholesale distribution of product to the different markets. This included over 10 worldwide trade shows. Was responsible for training of all staff members in each of the separate business units. Staffed and trained personnel for all trade shows worldwide and contracted the design and construction of two different trade show booths for display.

Was responsible to Transition Company from small software solutions company to company that provided both contract and full-time recruitment needs. My responsibility was business development, and to create the infrastructure that allowed the seamless process that flowed from the requisition to the hire. Interacted and was the figure head with key accounts such as American Express, Royal Caribbean Cruises, JM Family, Motorola, Office Depot, Rexall Sundown to name a few. Co-founded Audio/Video Home automation business serving the High-end residential and Megayacht community. Single handedly spearheaded all new business development to grow business within 48 months to 2.5 million in sales. Maintained work force of technicians, installers, and administrative people totaling 25. Personally recruited and hired all staff members. Secured very high-end products such as McIntosh and Pioneer Elite A/V brands. Was published over 9 times in 4 years featuring elaborate installations of systems in celebrity’s homes and yachts. Became largest Florida dealer of 7 manufacturers. Installed record $450,000.00 installation in Ft. Lauderdale for TV actor. Expanded operation to new facilities that included automated home theater, lighting, and security. Included movie theater type seats for 6 and an 8' diagonal screen with Runco Projector.

Was recruited by Sound Advice Company President, Peter Beshouri, to move to Ft. Lauderdale and implement custom installation department. wrote over $1,000,000 in sales per year and was recognized several times as top salesperson in units and profitability. Was ranked in the top 10 sales persons for 5 out of 7 years. Total number of sales people exceeded 400.

Manager, Custom Installation and Retail Store Operations
Started part time during college. Advanced from delivery person to above title. Managed retail store in Orlando Fashion Square Mall. Increased store revenue 48% in first year of management.
